Overview
We find out early on in the episode about what happened when Shouhei tried to kiss Chie last time. She shuts the door in his face and asks if he likes he. Unfortunatly for her, Shouhei just avoids the question by turning his back on her.
Later we find the gang at the Love Hotel which Kenken’s mother owns, and the guy who got found out about his “love making” in the school library stops by with a different girl. He tells the about a place where they can pick up girls. So off the guys go to take the entrance exam for the “Studies Through Experience” classes.
After the exams Shouhei rushes to the bathroom (it always seems like he needs to go potty at the most embaressing times), apparently due to eating “too many icecubes”. The gang follows him and they all end up stuck inside a cubicle after realising they’re in the girls bathroom, and girls are heading in the door. They overhear Kenken’s girlfriend, Soroko, saying she os probably going to “do it” with him soon.

Kenken decides to plan a trip for his first time, and invites the gang and some of Soroko’s friends along. So, to raise money for the trip Shouhei, Kenken and Kou-kun decide to get jobs delivering pizza. Udayan, on the other hand, decides to play guitar on the streets to raise the money. The town commitee hears about the trip and secretly makes a plan to tag along.
While working, Kenken see’s Shouhei’s teacher, Mochizuki-sensei, collapsing from some super cold (probably). So he takes her home to rest, but Souhei and the rest of the gang spot him coming out of her appartment later. They get the wrong idea, Kenken and Kou-kun get into a fight and Shouhei walks off.
Later, Chie finds him at the kindergarten and gives him two yoghurt drinks from Kenken. She tells him to take one for Mochizuki-sensei, since she’s not feeling well. The episode ends with Shouhei stood in front of the appartment, about to ring the doorbell.
Impression
There’s a really funny (and somewhat sad) scene I left out of the overview because I wanted to talk about it a little more. It’s the one when Chie is washing up and Shouhei’s mother comes in. She asks her where in Europe her family has gone, and Chie responds by saying “Frankfurt”. I don’t know whether she really doesn’t know where her family has gone, or she’s hiding something. It’s most probably the latter, and something bad has happened. Did she run away? I loved this scene at first, I couldn’t help but laugh. But by the end of it, it made me feel sad because I knew something was wrong.
The only thing that I’m angered about at this moment, is the fact that nobody told me J-Dramas could be this good. It could just be that I’m glad to watch something new, considering I’m working my way through some poor anime. I honestly feel like I’ve struck gold.
